Our Teaching Philosophy
1. Skills
1. SKILLS: Perhaps no other sport requires certain skills sets to be a good player. Many players can dominate when they are younger but eventually the players with skills will surpass them. Also, players must work on skills all year long.
Does this mean players must be totally dedicated all year to basketball?
No. Players can and should participate in other sports but should work on skills all year. That is why at the Eagles we provide that opportunity for players to work on their skills year-round by offering flexible drop-in sessions and locations.

2. Player's confidence/mental state of mind
I believe the most important and most missed attribute that makes a good basketball player is the players mental state of mind. A player can develop good skills but so many do not have the confidence to use those skills.
Do some coaches and programs crush players confidence? Do they not understand it's importance or how to do it?
All players must understand the importance of not just being a scoring threat but become a scorer. Be taught a good scoring opportunity and take advantage of that opportunity and score.

3. Game Like Situations

Game Like Situations
How does your son or daughter do the thing they like most, play games, and not continue to reinforce bad habits with little or no improvement?
GLC: Game Like Situations
Let's face it the players would rather play games than work to improve their game. Games are fine and can be a good learning experience but most of the time playing in games only reinforce bad habits.
G.L.C. (Game Like Situations) is a fast-paced theme focused at all our workouts, emulating game like situations. How do we do that?
Games of 1 on 1, 2 on 2 and 3 on 3
The transition game.
